Человек пробирался по лаборатории, окруженный гигантской техникой — мимо старых ускорителей, которые он разрабатывал три года назад для штурмовых фрегатов. Исследование было многообещающим, но ни к чему не привело, и в результате человек остался почти один в лаборатории-гробнице. Его работа оказалась бесполезной и безрезультатной, и сейчас он всё ближе и ближе к растущей чёрной дыре долгов. Долгов, которые никогда не сможет оплатить.
